The 1977 OPC set represented a change in philosophy for the company. The design of the cards is still identical to the Topps set of the same year, but the number of cards was reduced to 264 with more emphasis on the two Canadian teams. About 1/3 of the photos of the cards differ from the corresponding Topps cards..
